Laboratory Network
The SHARP Laboratory Network was established in February 2026 and brings together several participating members of the CRC SHARP research consortium.
Objectives
The network aims to increase the visibility and accessibility of existing laboratory infrastructures, technical equipment, and methodological expertise within the research consortium. In this way, the Laboratory Network supports collaboration within SHARP and contributes to the sustainable use of existing research infrastructures.
The SHARP Laboratory Network also promotes Open Science practices by fostering transparent documentation, shared standards, and structured access to research infrastructure. Particular emphasis is placed on increasing the visibility of existing resources and supporting researchers in the planning and implementation of studies.
Involved Teaching and Research Units
The participating laboratories represent a wide range of research areas and methodological approaches. These include, among others, video- and observation-based laboratory environments, eye-tracking setups, digital and media-supported learning environments, XR- and simulation-based research settings, as well as technical infrastructures for the recording, analysis, and documentation of research data.

Lab Usage
Bookings and the management of laboratory time within the SHARP Laboratory Network are organised through the web-based booking platform eTermin. Further information on laboratory use, available resources, and relevant procedures will be added in the near future.
Overviews of the participating laboratories and their technical capabilities will soon be provided through video lectures and other formats.
