Summary
Project Z serves as the central administrative hub and coordination unit of the CRC. It oversees resource allocation, facilitates cross-project collaboration through collaboration platforms, retreats, and meetings, and organises content-related and methodological workshops. In addition, the project coordinates measures to standardise shared research processes and supports the consortium’s joint laboratory and research infrastructure.
The project also plays a key role in implementing measures for gender equality and diversity. Furthermore, it coordinates activities for early-career researchers and provides organisational support for the qualification and supervision of doctoral and postdoctoral researchers. Project Z is additionally responsible for central activities in the areas of science communication, knowledge transfer, and Open Science.
In this way, the project establishes the conditions necessary for close collaboration, scientific exchange, and the sustainable development of the consortium.
