AI-Empowered Education: Policies, Research and Practice in China

We are pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Xibin Han, Professor of Educational Technology at Tsinghua University's School of Education, who will give a talk titled "AI-Empowered Education: Policies, Research and Practice in China."

Dr. Han brings nearly three decades of experience in academic research, policy consultation, and practical guidance in technology-enabled education. The talk will use AI-enhanced vocational education in China as a case study to explore practical advances, academic findings, and the development of education policies and standards. It will also draw on a large-scale survey of AI applications in vocational institutions (N > 1,000,000). With over 100 peer-reviewed publications and 10 academic monographs, Dr. Han offers valuable insights into the integration of emerging technologies in higher and vocational education.
