Qualification Program
The SHARP qualification program supports its researchers in their academic development and provides targeted qualification in the field of Educational Data Science. Our goal is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, strengthen scientific independence, and support excellent research with high methodological standards across all subprojects.
Our program combines methodological training, academic exchange, and the development of transferable skills. It includes Methodological Working Groups, Project Area Meetings, Retreats, Early Career Meetings, and Project Academies. Project Academies play a key role in subject-specific qualification and ensure common quality standards within the consortium (e.g. Good Scientific Practice and Open Science).
The program is open to all researchers within CRC SHARP, with a particular focus on doctoral researchers and postdocs. Participants benefit from cross-project networking, international collaboration, structured supervision, individual mentoring, and continuous qualification opportunities. Additional support measures - such as funding for conference participation, research stays abroad, and career development - complement the program. The SHARP qualification program is regularly evaluated and continuously adapted to the needs of our researchers.
