The Collaborative Center SHARP (TRR419) is the newest institutional funding member of the Open Science Center at LMU - and to mark the occasion, a kick-off workshop for the SHARP researchers was held right away!

The coordinator of the OSC, Malika Ihle, offered a kick-off training to the SHARP researchers. She introduced many open research practices and reasons why to adopt them. The group discussed preregistration, simulation of data to prepare preregistration and power analyses, the minimum set of computing skills needed to make our research reproducible (such as programming, research data and code management, literate programming to create reproducible reports, and version control), and how to make data and other research outputs FAIR.
We are looking forward to our continuing collaboration!
