Equity
At CRC SHARP, equity is an integral part of a responsible and excellent research culture. We therefore pursue a structured approach to promoting equitable opportunities and diversity and continuously develop related measures together with the participating universities. These measures include mentoring opportunities, workshops, counselling services, awareness initiatives, and family-friendly working conditions. We promote not only gender equality as an important component of equal opportunities in academia, but also a broader understanding of diversity that encompasses different social, cultural, and international backgrounds, diverse life experiences, age groups, sexual orientations, as well as individual needs and health-related considerations.
We believe that an open, respectful, and supportive working environment strengthens both collaboration and scientific innovation while fostering a positive and enjoyable research culture.
